User Guide

In the cvechecker User Guide you will find the installation instructions, configuration instructions, usage instructions and syntax information on the cvechecker tool. It is a must-read for anyone interested in using cvechecker.

The following user guides are available online:

  • Userguide for development version (HTML, PDF)
  • Userguide for version 3.x (HTML, PDF)
  • Userguide for version 2.0 (HTML, PDF)
  • Userguide for version 1.0 (HTML, PDF)

Development Information

I'm starting a Design and Architecture document (PDF) which describes the intentions of the application, the objectives and deliverables, as well as the concepts, logical approach and physical design used.

Feature Requests

To keep track of the requested new features, a featurerequests document is being actively maintained.

Examples

An example output report of the cvereport command can be found online. This command, which is added in the 0.5 release, uses the cvechecker command output as input to create a readable report. You can of course use the cvechecker output to build your own reports.
